Australian Sports Commission As major partner of Netball Australia the Australian Sports Commission funds and supports the sport at all levels. The Australian Sports Commission funding is assisting with the establishment and rollout of the San Remo Net Set Go program over the next three years as well as the ANZ Championship (a new national netball league) and the National Indigenous Netball Strategy.
Netball Australia acknowledges the Australian government, through the Australian Sports Commission as a vital partner in the development of netball in Australia. Netball Australia is proud to be a partner in sport with the Australian Government and the Australian Sports Commission in particular.
We appreciate that the Australian Sports Commission recognises the cultural significance as well as the sporting significance of our sport.
San Remo
 San Remo has become a household name as a bit of a family favourite! It has been making pasta since 1936 when the business was set up by Mr. Luigi Crotti, father of the current company chairman. Happily, San Remo is still a 100% family owned Australian company. Netballers, like other elite athletes, are well aware of the benefits of a carbohydrate meal to give you energy and that pasta is a great source of carbohydrates. San Remo is now the naming rights sponsor of the San Remo Net Set GO! community-based initiative aimed at children aged 5 to 10 years to increase participation and to develop a positive introduction to netball. San Remo will work with nutritionists and Netball Australia to develop kid-friendly healthy recipes using pasta as part of a balanced diet. The aim is to develop better eating habits in Australian families while also encouraging children to become more active & have fun through involvement in organised sport.
Holden
GM Holden is a proud supporter of the Net Set Go! Program.
GM Holden is excited to be part of the official launch of Netball Australia’s junior development program that provides a positive introduction to Netball.
GM Holden is focused on encouraging children at the grass roots level to be part of a program that provides them with the best possible learning and playing experiences while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
GM Holden is also the Naming Rights Sponsor for the Australian Netball Team’s home Test Match series in October. Lorraine Lea Linen
